HAMPSHIRE organisations helping to cut crime and support victims are invited to put their bids in for thousands of pounds.
Hampshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner Simon Hayes is looking for groups which are dedicated to reduce reoffending to apply for funding.
Up to £65,000 is up for grabs for each applicant through the Safer Communities and Be Part of the Solution grants.
As previously reported, the Daily Echo-backed be part of the solution campaign, was launched by Mr Hayes in a bid to encourage to young people to join with police to help reduce crime and antisocial behaviour.
Mr Hayes said: “My Safer Communities and Be Part of the Solution grants will be a valuable addition to existing funding flowing into community safety issues, and will help to build a new partnership with users, victims and service providers, so that we can work together to create a joint approach to all funding.”
