DETECTIVES have released this e-fit image after a man was assaulted on his way home from a party.

The 56-year-old man was treated in hospital after being assaulted at the junction of Knighton Road and Wodehouse Road in Sholing, Southampton, when making his way home.

Police want to speak to a man described as mixed race, in his early 20s, and with curly hair.

He is described as around 6ft tall and was wearing an army green or black coloured jacket and possibly a grey jumper underneath.

Officers say he spoke with "possibly" an Indian accent.

Police are also trying to find the owner of a pink bike (pictured).
