VANDALS shot a ball bearing through the window of a car as it was being driven through a Hampshire neighbourhood.
Police are hunting whoever targeted the car which was struck from behind by a metal ball bearing, smashing through the rear window, as it was driven along Ringwood Road, in Netley Marsh.
The ball bearing ricocheted through the car, striking the inside of the front windscreen in several places, before coming to rest in the front of the passenger foot well.
The man and woman inside the car managed to escape injury.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened at around 6.45pm, on December 18, to come forward with any information.
