A MAN was in hospital last night after he had to be cut from his van following a smash on a Hampshire road.
The man, believed to be in his 40s, was driving a van when it lost control and collided with two other cars on Grantham Road, in Eastleigh, near the junction with Chamberlayne Road.
Firefighters from Eastleigh and St Mary's were called to the scene, just after 7pm, to extricate the man from the van.
He was taken to Southampton General Hospital by South Central Ambulance Service, for treatment to possible neck and back injuries.
Another person suffered minor injuries but was treated at the scene by paramedics.
