A NEW cake shop has opened in a Hampshire shopping centre.
GL sells more than 100 different varieties from a unit at The Marlands Shopping Centre in Southampton.
Shop manager Scott Parker said: “GL is particularly proud of its cakes and tray bakes.
"We make over 100 different flavours of cake from traditional favourites like carrot cake and Victoria sponge to new classics.
"All our products are made locally and freshly in Hampshire by local people.”
Next April bosses plan to open a new cafe at the store which will also feature meeting rooms for hire.
