CHILDREN in Southampton have had a happy start to the festive season thanks to a business donation.
Spectrum Housing Group has donated £450 to Forest First Children’s Centre so that volunteers could throw a Christmas party for the children.
The money mean’t that children were able to enjoy food, drink and presents and Emily Cameron, who works at the centre, said the children were overwhelmed.
“Without the grant the party could not have gone ahead. Some of the children may receive less than others this Christmas.
"However, thanks to Spectrum, the children all enjoyed a great day with food, games, presents and even a visit from Santa. The families were so surprised to have received so much and the children had so much fun.”
