RESIDENTS in a Hampshire town know it’s Christmas when they see Michael Wood’s garden gleaming with festive lights.
The 67-year-old great grandfather of ten has transformed his home in Romsey into a real life winter-wonderland – complete with sleigh.
The front garden of his home in Hunters Crescent, Woodley, has a sleigh built out of wire and decorated with tinsel and lights, adding to the festive feel are five reindeers and two Christmas trees.
The creation took Mr Wood more than 100 hours to put together, but with the help of his wife Margaret, 67, he is now delighted with the end result.
Mr Wood, said: “It is very rewarding when people have a look at it. I enjoy doing it each year – I am really into my Christmas lights.”
