Major barn fire at Cheriton Fitzpaine
EIGHTY tonnes of hay and straw were destroyed in a barn fire at Cheriton Fitzpaine this afternoon.
Three fire crews, from Crediton, Tiverton and Danes Castle, were sent to the scene at around 12.05pm.
They have been moving undamaged machinery and bales to safety throughout the day as they tackle the fire.
