COMMUTERS faced delays on the railway network this morning after a fire on the line.
The blaze broke out on a stretch of line between Southampton Central and Southampton Airport Parkway.
The line reopened soon afterwards but passengers faced delays of more than 10 minutes.
It came as thousands of employees start back to work after the Christmas break.
It is not known how the fire started or how much damage it has caused.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue has confirmed they did not attend.
South West Trains confirmed services were running normally by 8.30am.
