The Hoegh Osaka is stranded in the Solent after running aground on Bramble Bank
THE stranded Hoegh Osaka could be re-floated in the Solent tomorrow, according to salvage experts.
Bram Sperling (above), from salvors Svitzer, this afternoon told a press conference a decision would be taken tonight on whether to try to move the vessel.
But he said it dependeded on a number of calculations including the weather and tides.
Mr Sperling said water that had leaked in would have to be taken out, and then around high tide if things were going to plan she would be slowly taken to deeper water.
If she was stable then Hoegh Osaka could be afloat at high tide tomorrow.
But the operation could still take days to complete.
The press conference took place at the Grand Harbour Hotel in Southampton.
