Coastguard called after unmanned boat spotted drifting in Southampton water
SOLENT Coastguard were called out last night after a boat was seen drifting in Southampton water.
Teams inspected the small empty fishing boat which was seen near the River Itchen last night, but found nothing untoward.
It is thought the rowing boat may have slipped a mooring.
