POLICE are stepping up investigations into the car crash which left a Hampshire woman fighting for life in a Caribbean hospital.
The 30-year-old, who has been named locally in the Cayman Islands as Kate Clayton, remains critical in a coma following an accident in her Jeep Wrangler after a night out.
Her car left the road in the East End area of Grand Cayman on January 11, leaving her with injuries to her back and a broken neck and pelvis.
She is understood to be a former Wildern School pupil who moved to the Caribbean to work as a dive master in December 2013 after leaving her job at Sky TV.
