A CHILDREN'S pushchair which shot Hampshire father to global fame after he posted it for sale on Ebay has today been sold to a new buyer.

The demoralised dad from Sarisbury Green became an internet sensation for his brutally honest description of the product he calls the 'green monster'.

The man, known only as Joel, put up the Phil and Teds green double buggy for sale with the explanation that he “never wanted children” and that the chair “signifies everything that ended my happy carefree low cost child free life”.

His outspoken comments caused its price to soar from the original £9.99 suggested price to more than £153,000 as the post went viral.

Today it has been sold to an undisclosed buyer for £325 after bids closed at noon today.

They beat off competition from 74 other people battling it out to scoop the chair.

Joel also dubbed it the 'green albatros' and admitted has had “pretty much every bodily fluid known to science (and several that have yet to be discovered) chucked over it by my children”.
