AN artist has given college students an insight into his work.
Stephen Cornford, a sound installation and film artist, visited Eastleigh College to talk to its School of Visual Arts and Media students.
He is a research fellow at the Sonic Art Research Unit at Oxford Brookes University.
Speaking to Pre-degree Foundation Diploma in Art, Design and Media students, he aimed to show them how he developed his work.
Stephen’s interest lies in consumer audio electrics.
His recent ‘Migration’ installation of 97 dictaphones on his studio wall mimics the sound of migrating birds or insects.
