Police are appealing for witnesses following a break in a New Forest village store.
The Central Convenience Stores in Station Road, Sway, was broken into at about 2.40am yesterday morning.
Tobacco and alcohol was then stolen.
The suspect is described as a man, medium build, wearing a distinctive Puffa style coat with a stripe at the top and a dark circle on the left sleeve.
He was also wearing jeans and motorbike style boots and gloves.
Anyone who may have witnessed this offence, or if offered packets of Golden Virginia or similar tobacco pouches or original blend Natural American Spirit in the local area, please contact Police on 101 quoting 44150065343.
