STUDENTS from Woodlands School in Southampton have triumphed in a competition run by the University of Southampton.
The competition saw schools from throughout Hampshire competing to stop a hypothetical outbreak of smallpox.
The project required schools to work in teams to develop a clear action plan on how to stop an outbreak of smallpox. The teams worked with current Southampton undergraduates to research the virus thoroughly and understand what action would need to be taken.
