Road closed after car crashes into telegraph pole
HOMES are left without power after a car crash destroyed a telegraph pole.
The A272 in Bramdean is closed after a car collided with the telegraph pole at around midday.
The power went down in the area at around 2pm, leaving several homes without power.
The pole was smashed into three pieces in the incident.
A spokeswoman for South Central Ambulance Service said they received the call at around 12pm.
“We sent one rapid response vehicle and an ambulance crew and one person was taken to Royal Hampshire County Hospital with non life-threatening injuries,” she said.
