HIP-hop legend Snoop Dogg will be appearing in Southampton - a month after he had to postpone a scheduled date in the city.

The multi-million record selling artist will headline Switch nightclub as part of his DJ Snoopadelic set on May 21.

Snoop, famous for hits such as What's My Name and Snoop's Upside Ya Head, confirmed his appearance on his Twitter page.

The artist's visit coincides with his appearance at the Cannes Film Festival.

As reported, the famous musician cancelled his scheduled appearance earlier this month after the date clashed with his schedule.

Switch management expressed their disappointment over his postponement and apologised to fans who had bought tickets.

But Ryan Keary, co-owner of Switch, confirmed this week tickets are back on sale for Snoop's rearranged date.

Tickets for the event go on sale next Friday (April 3).

There are 350 standard tickets available at £20 and 50 VIP tickets available at £25.

Tickets sold out in a record 26 minutes last time they went on general sale.

In a statement, Switch said: “For all those that previously purchased tickets, these will be valid for the rescheduled date.

“This event will sell out in a matter of minutes as we only have a handful of tickets left.”
