The jury in the trial of a GP accused of indecently assaulting eight of his women patients was last night sent home after more than three hours of deliberations.
Dr Gerald Walmsley, 50, of Kent, denies 10 charges of indecently assaulting the eight women over a 17-year period. Five of the women were patients of Dr Walmsley at his surgery in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, where he still practises.
The trial was adjourned until Monday.
