CELTIC stopper Andreas Hinkel says there is no way Rangers will be allowed to run away with the League title.

The German, who was denied an equaliser by a tremendous Allan McGregor save in Saturday's Old Firm game, believes the leaders can be caught.

"I don't think 1-0 was just," Hinkel said.

Rangers must visit Parkhead twice before the end of the season, with the first of Celtic's two home Old Firm clashes on April 16.

"We still have the chance to win the league and we will fight all the way to do that," the 26-year-old added.

"At the moment, Rangers are in a better position, but two wins in the derbies for us and everything changes.

"We had enough chances in the Rangers match to get a result and I saw a game that we could have won on Saturday."

Celtic will now look ahead to Saturday's clash with Motherwell, with victory now vital in every game as they look to close on Rangers, who have a six-point advantage and a game in hand.

As reported in later editions of yesterday's Evening Times, Celtic have welcomed Uefa's decision not to pursue an investigation into alleged sectarian chanting by Celtic supporters in Barcelona.

European football's governing body had been looking at video footage which appeared on the internet following the Champions League match in the Catalan capital on March 4.

"No disciplinary case will be opened," a Uefa spokesman said. "There was not enough evidence."

A spokesperson for Celtic said: "We never felt that there was any case to answer and we welcome confirmation of this from Uefa."
