A LORRY became stuck on a bridge in Southampton, causing traffic chaos in the surrounding area.
Gridlock built up either side of Woodmill Bridge after the Co-Op lorry got stuck on Friday afternoon.
The bridge is a well-known local bottle neck, as it is too small for more than three cars heading in the same direction to get through at the same time, when there is oncoming traffic.
It comes after residents in the area recently put up signs to berate motorists who ignore the "three car rule", labelling them as 'fools.'
Southampton City Council's highways team say the lorry has now been cleared from the scene.
