A WEDDING party has been left stranded after a wheel fell off their limousine.
The limo had been travelling along East Street, Southampton when the front passenger-side wheel fell off.
The white vehicle had been carrying a family who were on their way to a wedding.
Trevor Bartlett, 64, a yacht sprayer from Townhill Park who saw it happen said: "There was a big bang and the wheel fell off. It sounded like a gun had gone off.
"It was going nice and slowly. Imagine if he was going fast."
Shoppers stopped what they were doing and watched as police arrived on the scene.
The broken-down vehicle is blocking the one-way street as it waits for recovery outside City Express.
Traffic is backing up along the road.
