YOUNG people in a Hampshire town will feel the benefit of a charity's financial boost.
Y Services for Young People, a charity that provides youth work such as clubs and projects, has been awarded £24,740 by Barclays.
This will go towards renovating a disused public toilet at Forton Recreation Ground in Gosport into a small classroom facility where young people can gain new skills, interact with their peers and raise their aspirations.
The Forton Recreation Ground has previously had money from Barclays and the Football Foundation totalling £114,817.
This went towards building a floodlit multi-use games area where organisers could run formal sports sessions.
Andy Kennedy, Chair of Trustees at Y Services for Young People, said the money would help to develop spots delivery to young people and increase community use of the facility.
