CONCERN is growing for the welfare of a missing man.
Michael Davies was last seen on the Isle of Wight at the Hotel Maria in Sandown on Tuesday.
The 71-year-old who is from Blaina in Wales was visiting the island as part of a coach holiday with his wife and police are worried that he may not have access to the blood pressure medication he needs.
He was later seen on CCTV, which showed Mr Davies being in the Avenue Road just before 1am on Wednesday morning.
Police have conducted a helicopter search for Mr Davies who is described as white with cropped white hair and was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, blue Reebok jumper, jeans and a baseball cap.
