Your White Paper coverage listed opinions from members of the public, encompassing a wide range of ages and views - which is laudable (Battle of the White Paper, News, December 1).

The glaring omission is any opinion from anyone in any ethnic minority. The overwhelming majority of my friends are of Indian and Pakistani descent and their views remain unsought.

A future independent Scotland would, I hope, be broadly inclusive. It would have been preferable to see a discussion which reflected this.
