POLICE have issued an appeal for information after a burglary in a Southampton pawnbrokers.

Hampshire Constabulary is looking for two men who broke into The Pawnbrokers in Marlands Shopping Centre and stole a collection of designer watch boxes – which were all empty.

The pair broke into the store between 1.15am and 1.30am on Wednesday, June 3 and had a getaway motorbike running outside the store.

They got inside by breaking the glass door and while one man went inside to steal the goods the other, who was wearing a trials style crash helmet, stayed as look-out outside.

They then fled the scene with the Tag Heur and Cartier boxes on the motorbike.

The men are both described as slim build and one was wearing grey jogging bottoms, a black jacket, a white scarf over his mouth and a red coloured trials crash helmet with a black stripe across the top and a design on the back.

The other man was wearing black jeans and a black jacket and they were both carrying bags, one of the bags looked like a camoflage rucksack.
