VICTORIAN fact and fantasy mingled when members of a Hampshire camera club visited a museum.
Viewfinders of Romsey Camera Club made an evening excursion to the Bursledon Brickworks Industrial Museum, which had been opened exclusively for them.
Apart from the restored brick-making machinery and buildings in the museum, club programme planner Harry Borgerson had arranged for members of the League of Bournemouth Steampunks to act as models in the industrial setting.
Steampunks invent imaginative costumes based on the idea of an alternative reality Victorian era, which is reflected in fantasy novels and short stories.
Viewfinders meet most Tuesdays at 7.30pm in the Michelmersh and Timsbury Jubilee Hall and visitors are always very welcome. For more information, visit the club’s website at viewfinderscc.org.uk.
