FIREFIGHTERS were called to a Southampton pub this morning.
Crews went to The Admiral Sir Lucius Curtis Pub in Canute Road at 6.30am after fire alarms were triggered in the kitchen.
But they discovered they had been set off burning fat in a deep fat fryer.
No damage was caused and crews from Hightown and St Mary's fire station stood down shortly afterwards.
