A HAMPSHIRE tennis club is hoping they can help train the next generation of young female tennis stars with the help of none other than Andy Murray’s mother Judy.
The famous tennis mum, took a break from watching her son at Wimbledon to help launch her ‘Miss Hits’ tennis programme.
It aims to increase participation among girls aged from five to eight-years-old.
Miss Hits will take place at Romsey & Abbey Tennis Club and to mark the start of the programme, the club sent a coach to train with Judy at Winchester Racquets and Fitness.
The sessions, which cost £5, will take place every Saturday morning from 11.15am to 12.15pm at Romsey Sports Centre. To find out more email mis-hits@ratc.org.uk
