POLICE are trying to reunite this lost tortoise with its owners.
Officers in Hedge End made the unusual discovery yesterday.
Police have now launched an appeal in an attempt to find the tortoise’s family.
The creature was found in St John Road, at the junction with Granada Road, not far from Hedge End police station in the centre of the town.
If you recognise the tortoise as yours or think you may know who it belongs to, officers urge you to call the Hedge End team on 101.
