Ball will be held in memory of baby girl

A HAMPSHIRE couple have set out on a selfless fundraising mission in memory of their baby daughter.

Hayley and Norm Steel are determined that the death of their newborn girl could be turned into a positive.

The young couple never left baby Phoebe's side as she battled a rare brain condition.

But after weeks of fighting, doctors could do no more and Phoebe sadly passed away six weeks after her birth.

On September 28, 250 guests will pack the Hampshire Rose Bowl for Phoebe's Ball, a black tie charity night that aims to mark Phoebe's first birthday - and raise £25,000 in the process.
