Netley Marsh Steam and Craft Show has been cancelled.
ORGANISERS of the Netley Marsh Steam and Craft Show have this afternoon closed the gates to the public because of the torrential rain.
The three-day event finished a few hours early today as the weather made it impossible to continue.
Among the events cancelled was the display in the main arena of steam engines, classic cars and motorcycles as well as a dog display.
"It would have been too wet," said a show spokeswoman. "We are now concentrating on getting the exhibitors off the site.
"We would like to extend our thanks to all the exhibitors and the public that have come to support us," she said.
Friday's show was also hit by the weather.
