Police launched a hunt was launched after a vulnerable man who has went missing from a Marchwood hospital.
Christopher Groves, 52, went missing from the Priory Hospital Southampton around 2pm yesterday.
Police confirmed that he was later found safely in Southampton.
He is described as white, very tall and slim build, about 6ft 2ins tall, with medium length blonde hair and short blonde beard.
He was wearing a dark hoody, black beanie hat with white zig zag effect at front, dark denim jeans, light blue shoes.
Mr Groves walks with a distinctive limp.
Inspector Alastair Hibberd said: “Christopher is a vulnerable man and has been receiving care at the hospital.”
