Havant could be without three front-line players for tomorrow’s potential ECB Southern Electric Premier Division title decider against South Wilts at Bemerton, 11.30.

Key all-rounders Chris Morgan and Ben Walker are definitely ruled out, while middle-order batsman Chris Stone may also be absent.

South Wilts, in contrast, are boosted by the inclusion of Hampshire’s Sean Terry in their line up.

South Wilts, chasing a unique fourth straight championship, take a healthy 14-point lead into a match Havant must win if the Tom Morton title monopoly is to be broken.

They replace Steve Warner with Army all-rounder Stephen Booth, but Morton knows full well that, even though Havant are minus several players, they still present a huge challenge.

“They’ve still got a lot of quality players and are always the team to beat if you want to win titles,” he said.

South Wilts have the Indian Sign over Havant, having beaten them in their past three league games.

Havant did win at Bemerton in the ECB Royal London Cup last month, but South Wilts fielded a below strength side on that occasion.

South Wilts are also involved in ECB NatWest t20 Cup action on Sunday when they face Wimbledon in the regional semi-finals at the Surrey club’s Church Road, 1.15.

Blackheath and East Grinstead play of in the morning semi-finals.

South Wilts: Morton, Abel, Mynott, Terry, Hayward, Duffield, Hibberd, Franklin, Foley, Booth, Evans.

Havant: S Ransley, Hopson, Gibson, Gorvin, Christian, Hindley, Hovey, Bulled, Loat, Matthews, Wheal.

Bashley (Rydal) and Lymington both face sides battling against relegation.

Bash host bottom-of-the-table Ventnor, while unpredictable Lymington play at home to Burridge.

Ventnor hold the key to the developing situation in the Premier Division basement.

They need another win – preferably sooner than later – to claw back the 13-point deficit that separates them from Sarisbury Athletic, who entertain St Cross Symondians.

South Australian prospect Tom Andrews has taken 12 wickets in the past two games – he also made a century against the Hampshire Academy a fortnight ago – and has 37 victims to his name so far.

Middle-order batsman Neil Westhorpe is back for Ventnor.

Burridge, 19 points clear of the drop zone, will be conscious of the need to win the toss at the Sports Ground, where Lymington have been involved in three early post-lunch finishes.

They skittled both Havant and South Wilts there, but were on the receiving end when Bashley shot them out for 96.

Lymington are boosted by the return of Hampshire’s Lewis McManus.

Lymington: Beetham, Ellis, Ambrose; Ashkenazi; Calcott; Hand; Jennings; McManus; Metcalfe; Rogers, Scott.

Having won only once in eight all-day games, Sarisbury Athleic will be glad to see the end of the Time pennant cricket.

Their final match at Allotment Road is against St Cross Symonadians, who are without a win in their last three outings.

Sarisbury Athletic: Journeaux, Rawlins, Covey, Lovett, Akram, Burl, Banks, Norris, Goldstraw, Clouting, Jewell Hampshire Academy are without Tom Alsop against Alton, who have lost their last five Time pennant games.

Alsop is with the England Under-19 squad and made 68 against the Unicorns at Loughborough yesterday.

Michael Heffernan’s return will beef up a frail Alton middle-order.

Alton: S Myers, Hammond, Heywood, Myers, Myers, Heffernan, Heffernan, Anthony, Scott, Ball, Salmon, Ballinger.

Academy: Weatherley, Barber, Scrivens, Caldera, Duggan, Organ, Goodwin, McCoy, Samuels, Wood, Murray, Clutterbuck.
