A HAMPSHIRE teenager, who was caught carrying an 8in knife in the town centre, has been slapped with a six month drug rehabilitation order.
Liam Shane Collins, of Winchester Road, Andover, was arrested after he was discovered carrying a kitchen knife in South Street back in June.
The 19-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court and was sentenced to a drug rehabilitation requirement.
The order forces Collins to attend the Society of St James at Chapel House, Kingsclere Road, Basingstoke as a non-residential patient for six months.
Collins was also fined a total of £240 for the incident.
