A motorcyclist has died after a crash in Hampshire.
The 24-year-old died when his bike was involved in a collision with a Vauxhall Astra.
The accident happened in James Callaghan Drive on Portsdown Hill, near Portsmouth, at 6.30pm on Saturday.
The man was taken by ambulance to Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham, where he died.
The car was carrying four people and the driver and one of the passengers were treated for injuries at the scene.
Police have advised people to avoid James Callaghan Drive, as the road was closed for resurfacing following the incident and is no expected to be reopened until 5pm today.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, or has any information, is asked to call police on 101, quoting Operation Roman.
