Experience the Red Arrows like never before!

The world famous Red Arrows are making yet another attempt at flying over Southampton during Cowes Week on the August 13.

The world-famous display team have been very elusive in Southampton, having had the last three attempts cancelled due to bad weather.

So to make sure you get the best seats in the house the Daily Echo has teamed up with the Jubilee Sailing Trust (JST) to launch this exciting competition.

All you have to do is answer one simple question and you could be on-board the charity’s iconic tall ship Tenacious when the Red Arrows make their long-awaited appearance over the city.

What better place to enjoy a spectacular Red Arrows aerial display, and to soak up the fun and excitement of the regatta, than from the decks of a tall ship?

Daily Echo:

It will be a day out on the Solent you will never forget.

Embarking in Southampton at 2pm and sailing into the evening, you’ll also enjoy a delicious evening meal freshly prepared on-board, refreshments throughout the day and a complimentary glass of bubbly.

Daily Echo:

Tenacious was built in Woolston, Southampton and launched in 2000.

She is the largest of the UK’s operational sailing ships and the largest wooden tall ship built in the UK using local skilled shipwrights and engineers alongside an unskilled mixed ability voluntary workforce.

The JST is a unique charity based in the UK which provides life-changing adventures to able bodied and disabled people through the challenge and adventure of tall ship sailing.

Since the charity was founded in 1978, they have welcomed more than 45,000 people aboard their two globally unique tall ships, over half of whom with some sort of physical disability.

As well as the competition, the charity is offering the chance to buy tickets for the unique trip.
