PEOPLE affected by Marfan syndromea life-threatening and life-limiting condition can find out more about living with the condition at a family fun day at a Hampshire museum.
The event, which will be the second annual family fun day held by the Marfan Trust Charity is holding its second annual family fun day, allows families and individuals who have been affected by Marfan syndrome to share their stories.
Medical professionals and specialists in Marfan syndrome will also be taking part in seminars and answering questions.
Classic cars will be on show at the Museum of Army Flying in Middle Wallop near Stockbridge on Saturday October 3.
Visitors can ride in fabulous cars, enjoy face painting, a raffle, and children’s activities.
There is also free entry to the Museum of Army Flying and more from 11am to 4pm.
The Marfan Trust undertakes research and promotes awareness of Marfan syndrome. It is a rare genetic disorder affecting the skeleton, heart and eyes.
Marfan syndrome can cause early or sudden death if undiagnosed and untreated.
