Newsagent's bid to extend alcohol licence
A NEW newsagents in Southampton could be able to sell alcohol.
Bhavitabahen Patel has applied to the city council for a licence for City News' new licence.
She wants a licence so booze can be sold from 6am to midnight, seven days a week, at the shop in Park Street.
The council is welcoming representations from residents about the application, which must be submitted to the licensing team in writing to Licensing Team, Southampton & Eastleigh Licensing Partnership, Southampton City Council, PO Box 1767, Southampton SO18 9LA.
The council's licensing committee will then make a decision on the application if there are representations made.
