A RESIDENTS group will hear about the threat of doorstep crime at a meeting on September 16, from 7.17pm.
Warsash Residents Association’s guest speaker will be Julie Gallagher from Trading Standards’ Safeguarding Team, where her main role is crime prevention.
She will be raising awareness of doorstep crime and scams, be they by post, email, telephone, text, or fax.
The meeting will also hear about Speedwatch sessions which have been set up in Warsash Road and Lockswood Road. These will be stepped up now the schools are back and the association would like more volunteers to help out – call Michele Corrigan on 01489 881305 for more details.
The association’s annual photographic competition is now open for members and the conditions will be announced at the meeting.
The meeting will be held at the Victory Hall.
