THERE are just hours to go until Southampton becomes a giant paint-strewn canvas.

Hundreds of runners will take part in the Rainbow Run to raise funds for Hampshire hospices Naomi House and jacksplace.

And the Daily Echo will be right at the centre of the action with a team of reporters tackling the 3km course through the city centre.

Our reporters were so keen to get involved they had a practice run with the paint at Echo headquarters.

And there’s still time to get involved by signing up on the day at the race base in Guildhall Square, with the run raising cash towards supporting hospice costs following its £4m refurbishment.

Naomi House and jacksplace care for children and young adults with life-limiting conditions.

The Rainbow Run begins at 11am on Sunday.
