HAMPSHIRE shopworkers tackled masked knife-wielding robbers during an armed raid at a newsagents.
A pair of men entered Twyford News in Twyford Road, Eastleigh, at around 7.35pm last night, with one approaching the till and demanding cash at knifepoint.
The other confronted a member of staff at the rear of the shop but a scuffle ensued and one of the men lost their mask.
They ran off down St Johns Road and were able to grab cash from the till during their escape.
The man who lost his mask is described as black, around 5ft 9ins tall, slim and with short curly hair. The other man was described as white.
A 33-year-old man has been arrested and is currently in custody being questioned by officers.
