CITY of Southampton Orchestra are preparing to start their exciting 2015/16 season, which promises something for everyone.
Don’t miss their free concert in Southampton City Art Gallery on Sunday, where members of CSO will be joined by singers from Southampton Philharmonic Choir as part of Southampton’s Music in the City festival.
Rehearsals for the first major concert, in which three orchestral masterpieces will be performed, are now well under way. Enjoy Adams, Sibelius and Rachmaninoff at Thornden Hall in Chandler’s Ford on Saturday, November 14.
Blast off for a family concert at Central Hall, Southampton on Saturday, January 23. Join CSO for an intergalactic adventure for all the family! Our conductor will lead the orchestra through a selection of exciting pieces, including Star Wars and the Thunderbirds March.
Further concerts will take place at Thornden Hall on March 19 and Romsey Abbey on May 21 next year.
