POLICE are investigating after two men robbed an arcade in Hampshire.

Detectives are appealing for information after the pair stormed the Golden Touch Casino yesterday.

The men went into the arcade at around 9.05pm and shouted at two customers to stand still before threatening a member of staff with violence and using staff keys to steal money from the safe.

During the robbery in London Road, Portsmouth, the men pushed both customers. One of them, a woman, fell to the floor receiving minor injuries.

The men are described as both being around 5ft 9 inches tall with local accents.

One was wearing a grey hooded top and the other a blue hooded top with the hoods up and drawn closely around their faces.

The men made off with an undisclosed but substantial amount of cash in both change and notes.

It’s believed they ran off in the direction of the roundabout of London Road and Gladys Road.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who saw the men in the area before or after the robbery or has any information about the crime.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Constable Graham Skull at the Eastern Investigation Team based at Fratton on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
