A MAN arrested after he was in collision with an unmarked police car in Southampton has appeared in court.
Wayne Grant stood briefly at Southampton Magistrates Court on Friday, October 9, accused of burglary.
Grant, 23, of no fixed address, was told by magistrates to reappear at a hearing at Southampton Crown Court on Friday, October 30.
He was arrested following a collision with a police car in Woolston at around 1.30pm pm on Wednesday and suffered minor leg injuries in the crash.
The circumstances of the collision are being investigated by the force's Roads Policing Unit and reviewed by the Professional Standards Department.
A police spokeswoman said it is not being referred to the IPCC at this time.
