A MAN is fighting for his life after being assaulted by a gang of 20 youths in Hampshire.
The 47-year-old victim suffered serious head injuries in the attack and remains in a life-threatening condition at Southampton General Hospital following the attack in New Road, Hythe.
Two 15-year-old boys, from Hythe and Dibden respectively, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, while a 14-year-old boy, also from Hythe, was later arrested for the same offence.
All three have been bailed until February 2.
The incident took place at around 8.30pm on Sunday, although police have only released the details today.
