YOU could win an annual family pass to a Southampton museum – and all you have to do is use your imagination.

The Daily Echo has teamed up with SeaCity Museum to offer one reader the chance to win the pass, as well as an invitation for a private view and a limited-edition framed canvas print of an exhibition poster.

To enter you must come up with the title of a new exhibition coming to Southampton that celebrates its relationship with the great ocean liners of the past.

The exhibition, which takes place next year, includes a wide range of rarely seen items from the city’s maritime collection, including ship models, posters, photographs and objects from the great liners such as menu cards and souvenirs. This is the first time that these items will have been displayed on such an extensive scale.

In their golden age from the 1920s to the 1950s ocean liners were the lifeblood of Southampton, bringing employment, industry and glamour to the city. From the early days in the 1890s to modern times, a new major exhibition coming to SeaCity Museum in Spring 2016 tells the story of these great ships and evokes the romance of sea travel.

The title of the event should highlight the ocean liner and maritime theme while promoting a sense of nostalgia, luxury and links with Southampton.

To enter simply send your idea to anne.dickie@dailyecho.co.uk with the subject ‘SeaCity Competition’.

The closing date for entries is midday on Friday, November 20.
