High winds set to disrupt ferry services
FERRY services are set to be disrupted by adverse weather conditions in the Solent.
Red Funnel has announced that its Red Jet shuttle between Southampton and West Cowes may face delays this afternoon as winds are forecast to reach up to nearly 50mph.
The announcement comes less than 24 hours after Storm Barney battered the UK with winds up to 80mph last night.
Travellers using the service are advised to check before they make any journeys.
