POLICE have launched a manhunt after an armed robbery at a Hampshire newsagents.
Staff were left in shock after two men went into the McColl's Newsagent shop on Beechwood Avenue, New Milton, and threatened employees with weapons before leaving with several hundred pounds.
A police spokesman refused to confirm what weapons the men had or the exact amount of money taken.
Detective Constable Lee Murden said: "I am appealing for anyone with information about this incident to come forward and speak to us.
"Were you in the area at the time? Did you see the offenders or vehicles in the area, or around the wooded area near Ballard School?
"If you have any information please get in touch as soon as possible."
The incident happened between 9.40pm and 9.50pm on Saturday, November 21.
One of the men is described as being white, of medium build, five feet ten inches tall, and was wearing a navy blue hooded top with Republic on the front in white letters, as well as dark trousers and a face covering with gloves.
The other is said to be slim, five feet 10 inches to six feet tall, and was wearing a dark waterproof jacket, blue jeans, and a grey face covering with black gloves.
