THE race is on to ensure hundreds of needy children receive a gift this Christmas.

Access Self Storage has joined forces with Southampton charity SCRATCH who is giving Santa a helping hand in ensuring the city’s poorest youngsters find something under the tree this year as part of their Christmas Complete campaign.

They are urging people to donate good quality, new and unused toys and gifts for babies, children and teenagers up to 17 years old.

Annette Davis from SCRATCH, which provides services for some of Southampton’s poorest families, said: “The amazing donations will bring real cheer to our beneficiaries at Christmas time. A huge thank you to anyone who gets into the spirit of Christmas and makes a donation.”

Gifts can be donated to Access Self Storage in Third Avenue, Millbrook up until December 7.
